Workshops.

Wondering what to do with that glut of fruit & veg from your garden? Apples into chutney? Quince into jelly? Or perhaps you've struggled to achieve that perfect preserve?

Whatever your reasons, Clippy will teach you some of the secrets behind a silky jam, crystal clear jelly or a heavenly chutney. As the founder of the unique Clippy's Apple preserves brand, Clippy is considered to be at the forefront of the preserves world, so don't miss this opportunity to be inspired by Clippy's talent and infectious passion.

Each workshop will focus on seasonal fruit & veg with an added hedonistic twist (e.g. chilli, chocolate, ginger etc.). See workshop info for the seasonal twists...

Workshop info

- Where possible, workshops are 'hands-on' - you can take your creations home for your family and friends to try!

- The workshops are designed to cover all aspects of preserving. This includes methods/techniques and the various types of preserves (i.e. jams, curds, jellies, chutneys, relishes, pickles, cordials, fruit liqueurs, vinegars, bottled fruits, sauces, ketchups, oil-based).

- The workshops follow the seasonality of British fruit & vegetables. Click here for details.

- Each season will also have an added hedonistic twist to tantalise your taste-buds:
Spring (Mar-May): Ginger, Chilli, Garlic
Summer (Jun-Aug): Alcohol, Vanilla, Chocolate
Autumn (Sep-Nov): Vanilla, Alcohol, Chocolate
Winter (Dec-Feb): Garlic, Ginger, Chilli

- Typically, for a full day workshop, the students will prepare 3 preserves (with Clippy leading the class) and Clippy will prepare 1 preserve as a demonstration only. Click here for an example schedule.
